This has always been an issue with me...about deserting a sinking ship.
I mean do you actually expect your ship mates to hold on to the shinking ship and drown to their deaths? Heavens..thats mass murder!!
Today's business has become so number oriented that even when your employee comes up to you for your help, you sound off an earful, hold a gun to his head and threaten him with dire consequences.
Just imagine, instead if you
had asked him to sit down for 10 minutes. Ask out his problem. Perhaps ask him some solutions, guide him thru the issues and pat him on the back as he leaves. How would that make him feel. Probably he might not get his problem solved but at least he's gonna try. At least its better than making him feel miserable because he considered you for help!!

When a guys driven to the edge of a cliff, you gotta give him some rope. Not a rifles muzzle staring down at him. There are chance he might just jump the cliff!!!
Unfortunately in these testing times the former is being followed more often than not, and I for one am a definite follower of jumping ship if its not worth it.
"The juice has to be worth the squeeze", my friends, its just got to be worth it.
